Exhibit Opening
On June 29, 2016, Fame and Politics: The Life of Ruth Warrick, an exhibit, opened at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion. The opening coincided with what would have been Ruth's 100th birthday. Ruth Warrick, a native of St. Joseph, was a successful film and daytime television star. Many will remember her as Phoebe Tyler from All My Children. The exhibit explores not only her career but also her involvement in politics and philanthropy. Jerry Rosenberg, Ruth's godson, attended the event and shared his personal memories of her. Mr. Rosenberg also brought Ruth's Emmy® for Lifetime Achievement; it is on loan and displayed at the front desk of the Frederick Avenue site. Over 60 guests joined us in celebration of the exhibit opening and Ruth's birthday.
