During the 1992 presidential election, Ruth again found a politician whom she believed in and offered her services to the Clinton Campaign. She wrote to Hillary Clinton saying, “Please call on me” and traveled with the Clintons on their 1992 campaign bus. Ruth offered her celebrity services to the Clinton campaign just has she had done before with the Carters.
