The Making of an Exhibit

In February of 2016, Trevor Tutt, Collections Manager at the St. Joseph Museums, enlisted two interns to begin work on an exhibit about St. Joseph native Ruth Warrick.

Trevor had become inspired by the Ruth Warrick Collection in storage and wanted to create an exhibit scheduled to open on what would have been Ruth's 100th birthday.

​

During the Spring Semester, Kasey Solomon, an intern from Northwest Missouri State University, researched Ruth's involvement in politics, while Ashley Coats, an intern from Missouri Western State University, researched the fame side of Ruth's life.

​

Ashley continued to intern throughout the Summer Semester helping Trevor with the installation and design elements of the exhibit as well as work on publicity materials.
